Done but with errors on page

Hello,

Really hope someone can help please.

I've just knocked up a website and I get the above message with the following details
Line 4, Char 3, Error Syntax error, Code 0

Although it doesn't affect the website operation (it's very simple) I'm worried I'm less likely to get included in web search engines. The source code looks OK to me.

Any suggestions ?

Everything looks OK for me (I'm using FireFox).
Hint: remove a white space at the very beginning of the document (before DOCTYPE declaration).

The FF error console will tell you everything you need to know where your problem is scimitar_ss1, so use it!

It appears to be in your ads script so don't bother too much. for what is worth, move that script right before the end of your body tag and see if you still receive that error message.

Think the problem is with the yahoo script that is added as it's displayed. Ah well, nowt I can do...........

as it says, "please remove" i would remove it; do you need this script for something? if not then remove it and your error will go away

That is the stat counter code for a yahoo! server, I believe...
If you remove it, it will return.
You have to disable 'stats' in your cpanel...
Those stat counters are not very enlightening anyways...
