Container positioning.

AH! nother question.

Ive employed the use of a container to be able to hold and center my site. The background of my header is the background of the container non repeating. There exists a ~20px gap on the top margin and left and right margins of the container that I cannot get rid of. I would like to have the container go to the edge of the window at all times while still centering its content....

Code:
body { text-align: center; } div.headerback { background: white url('http://www.clixqr.com/image/headerrepeat.jpg'); background-repeat: repeat-x; width:100%; padding: 0; margin-top: 0pt; display: block; min-width: 813px; }
Code:
<body> <div align="center" class="headerback"> CONTENT CONTENT </div> </body

Go to teh edges pleeze.

New styles for your "body" tag:
Code:
BODY { margin: 0 auto 0 auto; /* T R B L */ padding: 0 0 0 0; /* T R B L */ text-align: center; vertical-align: top; }

and the page layout wrapper:

Code:
DIV.mainWrapper { width: 950px; height: auto; margin: 0 auto 0 auto; /* T R B L */ padding: 0 0 0 0; /* T R B L */ }

you start from here...

you can't argue with the powers above, I agree!

Anyway, all that snippet do is to center your layout while having a fixed size of 950px.
