File sharing widget?

Hello...I have a file and image hosting website...I am trying to create a program that would allow users to place the program on their website (or myspace...etc...) that would show everyone their files and allow them to click on them directly.

The website creates a cache file in each users folder, so I think this could be used to show the files, I am just not sure how to approach this...any ideas?

sounds more complicated than it needs to be. I don't think it will be quite so easy to get the information out of that cache (its probably not even reliable, not that I know).

If you use AJAX its not much different than providing the file-content directly on your website and I doubt you would use the cache for that?
