Hire a programmer - tell them if they want that they have to pay more - don't cheat your client.

that'd be some complex stuff man, it'd need rigging into your core system someway. How to you select songs to play, do they get pulled off computers? Is it database work- there IS a way I could hel p you with if it's database-type stuff- that'd be simple on theory alone but it depends on what you use to play/select songs etc.

for example,
if it was a database you used then as simply as i can put it you would send the selected song/programme to your site as well as playing it but only select the title/artist from the song and display it on your site somewhere. Also what Technology are you using to create the site? is it just HTML or are you using ASP/PHP?

provide a bit more info about the project and i'm sure people will try and help - pinkfluffybunny is right though, if your systems used to play songs is bespoke then you will need to hire someone to do the job professionally.

No Boogle, its a live radio broadcast which is also streamed. Dont want the actual playlist being displayed. What I had in mind was to have a jpg/gif with details of the show that is being played during that time. For example, at 7pm GMT a jpg containing info about the last show/programme switches to a jpg containing info about the show starting at 7. etc etc , so I suppose its a timed jpg change-over I'm looking for.

Just HTML. I also realise that timing events will be controlled client side, so if the viewer isnt in GMT London time, or if their clock is wrong, they will be getting wrong jpg/gif, but that cant really be helped

No money, its community radio, run on a shoe-string budget. Its not a major issue to get this solved, but it would be nice. And as for pinkfluffybunny...well, an apology is owed. Sorry bunny, I was a bit curt and mean with my reply. Up 3 nights solid looking for an answer to this problem, and not in the best mood at ALL at all! I DO appreciate and value any advice from ye and promise I wont bitch again .. lol...unless its another suggestion to SPEND MONEY..lol

OK, I then i'm going to be honest and say since you're using HTML only I'm not much of a Javascript master and that's what you're goin to need. You're also going to need to force the refresh of the page for these things to update. What you'd need to do is on th PageLoad event request the System's time and if that time is equal to a certain value then display a certain image and certain show information. And you can convert their time to a GMT time so don't worry abou that,

Code:
var tNow = new Date(); GlobalT = tNow.toGMTString(); if(GlobalT.getHours() == 19) { //set something yourJPEG in here or your information. }
Now believe me, it's not going to be that simple but it'll get you on the right track.
