Password & Redirect

Hello, looking for a simple and efficient way to impliment a password/redirect system on my Unix server.

I basically need users to login from my home page, and depending on their username, have them hit a certain subdirectory that is specific to them and them only. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

that can be done with PHP but it wont be symple. It will have login script then a java redirect with some php in it. if you name the sub directory after there user name then you could just set it to redirect to there username/index.php and that wouyld be there little area. What exactly ius this for?

It would probably be easier to incorporate a login script with an LDAP directory of these users. Each user would have to have an account on the server and thus their home directory would be the directory they get redirected to when they login.

This is defantily one of those 'advanced' needs.

We installed and set this up a while back for a guy who wanted users admitted depending on the level they had payed for, so I'm guessing it would work for what you're needing. It's not free but there are a lot of features (and a few small bugs).
