I have been having problems with installinG gallery, Greg has tried to install and come across the same problem, the error message i am getting is this__ Serious Warning!

Note: In some rare circumstances, Gallery thinks that Safe Mode is on, when it's really off. You can see for yourself by looking in the Local column of the safe_mode row in the PHP Info page. If it says 'Off' or '0' or 'undefined' then it's possible that Gallery made a mistake and you can continue. If not, then you must resolve this problem before you can use Gallery.


i have spoken to my host and they say it is not a problem there end and have shown be a few sites they host that have a gallery, please can anyone help???

Have you contacted the author of the program? The creator might be able to tell you what to do. Also, you could try another gallery program and see what happens. Know nothing about gallery programs.

If it says 'Off' or '0' or 'undefined' then it's possible that Gallery made a mistake and you can continue.

it says right there that gallery may be mistaken, so go ahead with the install and or use the program and see if it works.
