(this is going to tell my age.)

My first program I learned was how to make a clock for the TRS-80 III.
When you wrote programs they were un-savable. So you learn how to write them.

I have "Hello World SP1" available if anyone requires it.

My first serious attempt at programming was BASIC on a Commodore 64. I moved into Machine Language (Assembly) from there. I was pretty good at it too.

I've burnt many brain cells since then so I never moved into more modern languages. I did dabble with C++ a bit, but as it turned out, I sucked pretty bad at it. lol
