Upgrade Apache

My friend gave me a disk with Apache 1.3.27 HTTP Webserver on. Which i installed, i went to the apache site today and version 1.3.29 has been released. What i would like to know is how would i upgrade it. Plz note that i am quite new to apache and my apache webserver is on a pc without the internet (i use apache for testing scripts etc...)

Thanxs in advance....

Why do you want to upgrade? If you stuff is running, and you are working locally, you probably don't need to upgrade apache.

If that is the case then, there are generally pretty good release notes with Apache with install / upgrade instructions. If you are thinking of running your own server, then you need to take a look at some of the Apache documentation and begin to learn what makes it tick, so once it goes down you can fix it without having to reinstall every time

Basicly niceguy has said it all with the part about the documentation. I have not done any win32 installs of apache so i cant say from experence other than that I would be looking for documentation.
