(???) Couldn't connect to sql server 2000 using xampp server on windows server 64 bit

Dear master,

i have problem on my script with php, and always get the message is "Couldn't connect to sql server 2000...",

iam using xampp server on windows server 64 bit...

i already edit "php.ini" which follow instruction from xampp article...but its always got a message "Couldn't connect to sql server 2000....."

do you have solve about this case...

i need help...

Did you setup your ODBC connections?

i already setup ODBC...but same couldn't connect, i searching this error at other website...and i got this case..., xampp is one bundle with content apache, php and mysql their cannot connect in 64 bit...

i got php support 64 bit on xampp forum..but not yet installed...

Hmm.. I have XAMPP on my laptop, which is 64-bit.. and it works seamlessly. But, it's worth a shot.

localhost has done and work...i using php server side, ajax for client side to get database from sql server..but didn't work and nothing error message !!!

In order for you to connect to a MS SQL server using PHP, you have to install the plugins in PHP. Did you do that?

i'm a right php ajax and sql server 2000 ought to work in windows server 64 bit ?

Well... you have to get the 64-bit PHP MSSQL server binaries, but yes.

AJAX is javascript, you don't have to worry about that It's up to the end-user there.

i already download plugins php for sql server but not 2000, its 2005, what's that problem ?

If I remember correctly, I don't think it matters? Did you setup the connection from PHP to your SQL server correctly?

done!!! well done...php it works !!... connect sql server in win server 64 bit....

- installing connection ODBC. download php5dll and setting in php.ini
