I need a random script

I need a random script that randomly pulls an image from a directory.
I know it can be done with Javascript, but you have to define the images.
I want a script that I point to, images/random and it just grabs a random image from there.

Is it possible?

this is what i use and it works perfectly...

$random_banner = rand(1, 10);
?>

<img src="random/images/banner_<?php echo rand(1, 10) ?>.jpg">

in the directory you have it pointing to just name all of your images as "image_#.jpg" ... the script finds a random # between 1-10 (which can be lowered or raised) and adds it to the end of the filename right after the "underscore"
