Never buying ATI again.
I never had problems with my nVidia... never. Zero problems.
I've had this ATI for a year or two now and God knows it's created more problems than it has ever been worth. Not only that, my brother bought an ATI, and we've had problems galore with it too. Many problems with mine, much anger, and a broken finger... no more ATI for me.

Hmm, my friend burned his NVidia today when he got his new ATI, cuz he hated it so
I have had no problems with my ATI Radeon 9800 or my brothers.. and I even run dual-monitors off of it..
did yo uget those ****ty off-brand w/ ATI Chip ones? that might be the reason

My ati 9600 xt, works fine. I haven't had any problems, so far, and it's been over a year since I got it.
What are the problems that you're having with it?

I use the ATI 9800 Pro and never had any issues with it.
They seem like good cards to me.

I have had quite a bit of luck with both brands, but highly recommend buying the name brand versions. I have to run both as I have found that when using multiple video cards in the same machine at the same time, there are less driver issues with using seperate brands.

I like nVidia too and if you have one of those nforce chips in your motherboard then go nVidia!
It is well known that some brands are unlucky for some people. With me its fecking Pioneer, hundreds of pounds spent on their stuff like computer DVD player (Broken), expensive £200 DVD player (broken) in car stereo broken!!!!! But Sony loves me!

Um... well... see... I got mad.... and went to go punch the wall/closet door (right by the desk)... and must've forgot I was in a rolling swivel chair... the chair rolled backwards and the only part of my hand that hit the door was my right pinky. Yep... never went to the doctor and never set it.. didn't think it was broken untill after it was pretty much healed up. My knuckle there is kind of set back a bit. lol

LOL - My wife's computer still has a Voodoo 3 in it. I'm thinking that's why it won't run XP for more than a few days without taking a nosedive. The damned thing still runs perfectly, though, and I bought it in '99.
Go figger...

Lucky S.O.B.
I'm using a good, old-fashioned 17" monitor from like '95.
