Installing East Asian Languages

Whenever I try to install East Asian Languages, Microsoft prompts for the Windows Home Edition CD. The thing is that I'm pretty sure the computer only came with rescue disks, and I've already tried using them. Is there any way I can download the files from online?

Btw, the computer is a Powerspec that came with Windows pre-installed.

Arg. This is so annoying.

You'll need to contact the people who sold you the computer. Sometimes, they put a rescue partition on a computer instead of a CD. I have when they do that. My experience is that CDs last much longer than partitions.

Do you have a "I386" folder on your C: drive? If you do, you can try browsing to that folder when you are asked for the CD. Most of the Windows setup files will probably be in that folder. (If there is a I386 folder, but the prompt will not let you browse to it, you can burn the I386 folder to a CD and then try again)

Mine did that as well, and although I had the disk, I didn't feel like hunting around for it.... so I just went to Microsoft.com and downloaded it from there.
