FireFox Issue
Ok, here's the deal with it:
WhenI'm surfing around the forum and stay logged in here for hours, Firefox starts getting slower and slower until it is basically just chugging along rather sporadically.
In the end it just gives up the ghost and bombs out, trying to send an error report to the dev team.
From the moment it starts to slow down to the moment it dies, it can take about 30 mins.
This is really beggining to get on my nerves and haven't figured what is causing it.
It kind of seems like some sort of FF cache is getting full as it slows down if you know what I mean.
Anybody else experienced this and if so any idea how to fix it?

This is an early verion, but, my FF 1.0 kept crashing, but I don't recall a slowing down, and I never did determine why, I just switched to Opera.

I'm no programmer, but it sounds like it could be some sort of memory leak.
What does your task manager tell you?

Currently on 298,152 K (and still rising) in the space of a few mins. Ok it seems to me that it can't flush memory properly.
We got a leak with this baby.

It bombed out at about 308,600 K
I have restarted it and it reports 26,696 so that tells me def memory leakage going on.
Must be a fix over at Mozilla as I bet loads are having this issue.

100% is a memory leak. Just upgrade your version. I'm using 1.5.0.1 under linux and windows and I dont have any problem ...

Again, it depends on the extensions and other variables.
If you want to see if it's eating up your resources, just open Task Manager and monitor the memory count on it.
