Spybot Search and destory and Windows Defender are a team to be reckoned with.

If you have challenges with Spybot not clearing an infection, run it when your computer is in safe mode.

I've been using Panda Platinum 2006 since it came out.
This is an all in one type program, which includes Spyware protection.
It works flawlessly.
I was using Spysweeper from Webroot before this program.
I had real good luck with it also.

may i ask something? im using ad aware right now. is their a difference between Adaware and spybot s & d? or it is different and install them both?

Their list in what they pick up isn't exactly the same so it is worth having both.

Spyware blaster is also worth installing and works quite comfortably with both of those also.

It works slightly differently as it is preemptive and I suggest you go to their site and install it. - All is answered there
