If it is highly infected then you need to look at the economics of cleaning vs. reinstalling from scratch. I yet have to find software that will clean a windows system without manual tinkering. That tinkering may take dozens of hours.
Depending on what kind of setup you have on your PC, it could make sense to reinstall windows and restore data from backups. You have backups, don't you?

kiraz,
If nothing help reinstall windows is always solution but before taking such a extreme step (at least it is for me always last and extreme step) try all other things to clean your pc.
It does not include only trying of antivirus or antispyware tools but also trying to explain exactly your problems and asking for help because many people are enough educate that can help you to solve your problem.

SpyBot search and destroy for BHO objects and Lavasoft Ad-Aware for the rest. It does the job as long as you keep it updated.

The free antivirus programs listed below allow you to detect computer viruses, remove or repair infected files, prevent infection, detect and remove email viruses, etc. There are also free online virus scanning services available for those who prefer (or need to) scan for virus that way.
Antivirus programs
Symantec's Norton Antivirus 2007,
McAfee Security VirusScan Software and
Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 6
You can also use trial versions in the beginning, if you like you can purchase it.

Spyware removal
Hi all
Before running any kind of spyware removal software:
1) Download and install the latest updates for your anti spyware software
2) Run your machine in safe mode
To enter your machine in safe mode, restart your machine and continuosly tap f8 on your keyboard. Select safemode and press enter. Now run your spyware software.
Please note: You may need to continuosly tap F2 on your keyboard to enter some machines in safe mode e.g. Dell machines.
A good spyware removal tool is Spybot Search and Destroy.
Thanks

I would first recommend booting into safe mode usually by hitting F8 on startup.
After that i would recommend installing Ad aware, Spybot, and A squared (malware scanner).
Once your finished with that i would install and run ccleaner, then delete all your restore points, and then make a new one.
Hope it helps.

Spybot search and Destroy
AVG - Anti virus
Zonealarm - Firewall
Bitdefender
Ad-aware
Sorry for the list. I really do recommend you use a firewall or you will be open to intrusions.
If you can't download them login to safe mode with networking and download/install that way.
Matt

According to PCworld, the best antispyware application is Webroot's Spy Sweeper. I have conducted a research on the security tools, I would recommend Spysweeper for antispyware ....Kapersky's Antivirus for antivirus....and BitDefender Internet Security Suite on the whole. Its the best buy. The freeware programs cannot do full justice in detection and real time protection.
If you want further details, you can even go to the review sections of PCworld.com
