<<< WHAT IN THE... >>>

I have a popup popping up from my system trey where all the icons are. I can't get it to go away. checked my registry, can't find it. checked my start-up programs list, its not there. i checked everything, how do i find out whats loaing in my system trey and remove and delete the frickin popup? its a spyware advertisement popup saying "your computer is infect! blahblahblahblahblahblah click here to see available software" I HAVE TO GET IT OFF NOW! AHHH. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY. STUPID PEOPLE I SWEAR, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO GET THIS F***ER OFF WITH NORMAL WAYS.

How do I get it off? every couple minute it pops up from my desktop. i've rebooted 3 times, ran every spyware program I have, ran trendmicro newest version, webroot newest version, and giant newest version.

AHHH. How do i get it off?

What exactly is it advertising? What does it say?
Because there may be a dedicated removal tool.

Run ad-aware and spybot. That should do the trick. It might take running them a couple times.

Other times I press ctrl alt del and see what processes are running and hunt down that little sucker. I don't have the problem anymore though now that I use FF all the time.
