Best Free and Recommended Web Browser?
So yeah I've been using FireFox for a LONG time now, ever since Mozilla released it really, but I want change...
Is there any other good free web browser any of you would recommend? Please, don't even bother trying to recommend Opera; I hate that browser.
I'd love something similar to FireFox - I feel the program uses too much RAM at times and often freezes. I would love something that is very similar to it, but at the same time stable and secure.
Recommendations and links welcome.
Thanks, I love all of you...equally.<3

There's not much better than firefox right now, in my experience. Take full advantage of the extensions.
If you're really wanting to go new wave, you can try Flock, but it gets sickening after a while. EVERYTHING is linked to a feed, it seems.

Can I ask whats wrong with the Opera engine, it's very fast, secure and has reletivly decent page rendering with XHTML. I personally use IE7 at the moment on this PC but I mainly use Opera.

I agree. Opera is the fastest and the most secure browser for me. Anyway, vebo soon to be released.

Yea, and imo Opera works/acts the same was a Firefox. There are a few quirks here and there, but overall Opera and Firefox are on par.

I don't care for the plug ins and use Opera even more than FF, Opera doesn't freeze on me while that happened with FF a couple of times. I also use IE though, it's not at all that insecure as FF hypers claim it to be, specially not when used while you have a firewall running, which I do.
I remember the days when Netscape was used by IT people like FF is now (hyped a lot), in those days (windows 0.3 days) it was just as 'cool' to use Netscape as it is now with FF. In the end all you want is surf without your screen freezing up I guess, and most browsers do that without freezing.

Nobody use Netscape these days? I tend to use it when I get an urge but most of the time I would use FF because of some handy plugins.

Being a Safari user and webdesigner, do you have any suggestions for that problem? It's not registering the "no-repeat" command.
I've posted the query here and on the apple boards with no success. My coworker even has an inside connection at apple tech and they had no suggestions either...

I wish I did, but I have no idea why that's displaying the way it is...
