Flickr question

I want people to be able to submit their travel photographs.

Can you do this in flickr?

I can build you a custom script that you can add to your site that will allow people to submit their travel pics.

This way you can brand it to your site and not have to use something that wont 'fit' quite so well

Why wouldn't they be able to do it? But why would you want them to submit to Flickr instead of a gallery on your own site?

There are many groups on Flickr (Geek Girls is one for sure, thanks again Julie

).

So this is certainly possible.

Most likely it is possible but why not build something into the site instead of having an external application?

For me I would always rather a custom solution that will keep things looking the same way my site looks.

If flickr allows you to customize in order to match the site then great

I figure it's because travel photos can be quite beautiful and very large in res... so to keep the quality and not have to waste any bandwidth, flickr would work. Also, he could use a flickr plugin to pull random photos or something...

I found out how to create groups - so created one and it now has over 1,000 travel photographs from people who have submitted who are members of Flickr.
