Alarm Clock ?
Is there anyway to set an alarm clock on your computer? I don't want to use my regular one...it's annoying. Would think since Windows has a clock that there would be an alarm clock.

Why would an alarm clock be on Windows?
I guess if you really wanted to do this, pick a program that is loud on Start Up.
Go to:
Start-->All Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->Scheduked Tasks
From there, schedule a task for Windows, opening up a program to run that makes noise at the set time. Something such as MusicMatch Jukebox or some random game.

I agree with Yuripro too Or you can go to download.com and I'm sure you can find a free app that will do the trick

To make things even more interesting, you may check if your BIOS support auto power on. If it does, you could set up your machine to power up at specified times, and then as others suggested, have a multimedia event scheduled to wake you up.

If you have Outlook, just schedule a task or an appointment with a notification. It can be recurring and you can set the time and tone.

You ready for this? Lifehacker has discovered a dandy. You can make it play whatever you want, assuming you have it as a sound file. Very nice, and it only takes up 0.6mb when installed. Plus, it's a very nice price. $0.00 (that's $1 CDN)
Use this link if you just trust me about it. It's very nice. Opens up the file in whatever player is your default and starts playing it. I'd assume that it can do playlists also. So if you're like me and know your music pretty well you can use it to know when you have to leave.

This is the first one I've come across that I liked though.

thats the thing tho init. there are tones of software which do something, but finding one you like is tricky :p which is why i said that, as they might not like the same thing you like

True. I'm just hoping that everyone tries things out and finds what they like.
It's really hard to argue with a program that can be set to go off the exact second you want; can be set for different times different days; will fade the music in (over a time you set in minutes) so it's not a sudden blast; will stop all other music for a time in hours you set from playing; and will play anything in MP3, M3U, or WMA format.
Actually, I probably just found the only bad part. Your music has to be in one of those formats. I know I'd consider putting some songs in those formats just to use them though.
