Acessing alt groups
Hello everyone I was intrested in accessing this group from my PC I was told you can do so..
( news:alt.online-service.webtv ) But when I try accessing it. It asked me for some sort of (NNTP) Server info I am not sure of this Info If anyone can help I would be very greatful...Thank you

NNTP Server Info is the name of the NEWS server that your ISP provides you with.
If your ISP does not provide this service I believe there are alot of FREE news servers you can use. It's usually something like news.yourisp.com Hope this helps

Hello Dan, Still not sure I understand what and how would I find out the name
of the news Server? I want to access.

If they do not offer a News server than google up "Free news Servers" Once you find an address youll need to set it up in your news reader ie. Outlook Express, Outlook, BinaryBoy etc. Hope this helps
