Google. Hiring?

I didn't ever think they would hire more employees. They seem to be getting really serious about all of this. After all, they have EBay and Yahoo scared to death XD

If anyone is confused, Yahoo and EBay combined forces...or didn't they?

Anyway, if I saw this on thier site, and they are hiring tons of positions! If anyone wants, I can dig out the link for them...forgot to save. Just thought it was funny and though I'd share, considering how big they already are!

They have openings in Irvine, CA The big corps seem to have a shop in Irvine if they get into CA. I find that strange? OK, that was random, ignore this last paragraph.

dcole07 is liked by many
Last I read they had 2,000 employees, one site said 6,000 but I think they were off...

Google is more than a search engine... and they are losing money in the stock market, so they need new ideas... (don't quote me on all of this..)

Also, they are hiring all the time... they need to find the best, so they can't just open there doors once and a while.

soniqhost.com is liked by many
There is sort of like an arm race between google, Microsoft, Amazon and yahoo to hire the most computer science engineers.

Umm..this is not new news.. Google is constantly hiring people...lots of them, all the time. There's probably a few hundred job openings at any given time.

They have offices around the world, and far more than 2000 employees.

You guys been sleeping under rocks or something?

I don't think they've lost money, have they? The price went down a bit, but after going up up UP it had to switch at some point.

Google shares hit the market with a price tag around $90 and they are now worth $378 dollars. Google's price has corrected some to follow the market in general but they are hardly "losing money in the stock market". Assuming they are concerned about the price of their stock, that is an issue I can promise you has nothing to do with a job listing page.

well, the price did drop there for a while. I haven't watched it that closely, as I don't own that many shares and I'm just not like that but it did come down a bit, which may have caused some selling off of the stock. Again, I didn't watch that closely. I could google it ... LOL

Unless.. you are super savvy.. chances are you won't get in.

It's just like Goldman Sachs, Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LTCM, etc.

They only want the cream of the cream..
