I have a video (VHS) that I want to covert to digital and edit with my macbook. How can I do this? I want the cheapest most straight forward solution por favor.

inputs: Firewire, USB 2 and ExpressCard/34 slot.

There's a few video capture gadgets, that's what you'd need. But can't recommend any myself.

any video tuner should have capture functionality. Since it's VHS the quality of the hardware will certainly surpass the quality of the media anyway. Od course you need to have some sort of software to allow fot the frames capture. Some cards come with it, but Mac ain't my territory so I wouldn't know
