I presume that the evaluations version of Windows Vista will expire or won't have access to updates? I never heard of them releasing and evaluation versions and where they giving away free licence keys that will eventually work on the finial release?

I think the license wont expire but after a period of time you wont be able to update unless you buy a license key... There is an option in the control panel to change the license key so I am assuming they will turn certain ones off.

To run the full version with AeroGlass 3D enabled it takes a min. of 256mb of graphics memory, and you will want at least 1gig of system memory.

Remember if you also plan on coding video, doing graphics, music encoding, or gaming you will want to have at least 512mb of graphics memory, 2gig of system memory and a dual core processor.

it's so stupid, Microsoft hold about 90% of the OS market, and of that 90% at least 70% of it is business users, now they are not going to fork out a load of dosh to upgrade there hardware and software and OS when xp can do it for at least another 4 years. By that time the hardware will be cheaper and more readly avaliable than it is now. i just think microsoft went the wrong way and are trying to please the younger tarket market when it's not needed.

they won't cover there costs for a few years.
