Hello Kristee,

Looks like I came to the party too late. Does this mean that if you turn on graphics accelerator - the quality of the images tend to get blur during your "PrtSc" command on the keyboard ?

I was thinking about getting video snapshots too.

The only other questions is if it's the same with using cam capture on a video running.

I tried EVERYTHING to get a screenshot of a shot of a video and nothing worked EXCEPT turning hardware acceleration completely off - REstarting the video then taking the shot. worked like a charm.

I tried it fully decreased and the first thing I noticed is that my page was scrolling erratically. I put it back to full increase. Maybe I should simply make the adjustment prior to a capture, and then adjust it back when done. I haven't had a chance to properly experiment yet.

Yes - make the adjustment and the screen will flutter like crazy and go black -

once it's back - open the video and pause it where you want the shot and take the screenshot

once you are done - put the setting back to full

VLC will play most video types. When you see "Winamp can't play this file etc.", people usually suggest VLC and it works.

But I prefer VirtualDub because you can skip frame by frame.

I used to have MPEG-elecard player, you should find it when you google.
With this i could play everything, and just take pictures from the exact screenshot i wanted.

Best bet is to use a video editor, find the frame you want, cut it out and save it as an image.
