If it's really new (aka you still have a warranty), take it back from where you bought it and ask them to take a look. If you bought in online send them an email with details abd screenshots.

Did you install a program (or anything) that did not come with it?

Yes, I always do install softwares for my college, but I never have this problem when I do that, it is after a week or so, I had this message more than 4 times, I am really surprised, I even have a Norton Internet Security, I know it does not protect my PC like it should, but it helps, I really don't know what I must do in this case.
Thank you Cricket.

Their message indicates that there might be some sort of driver conflict. Are we talking Windows XP? If so, have you made sure that you have all updates including drivers?

I could be wrong, but I think that only critical updates are installed automatically. Just for kicks, I would go directly to the Microsoft update site and make sure that I had any needed recommended updates too, especially those listed under hardware. http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/

Thank you for your interest in obtaining updates from our site.
To use this site, you must be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later.
To upgrade to the latest version of the browser, go to the Internet Explorer Downloads website.
If you prefer to use a different web browser, you can obtain updates from the Microsoft Download Center or you can stay up to date with the latest critical and security updates by using Automatic Updates. To turn on Automatic Updates:
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Depending on which Control Panel view you use, Classic or Category, do one of the following:
* Click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
* Click Performance and Maintenance, click System, and then click the Automatic Updates tab.
3. Click the option that you want. Make sure Automatic Updates is not turned off.
I had this message, lol, I always go to the site and they told me though I have all the updates.
Edit: I have the new Internet explorer, the newest version, not 5.

This sounds very strange. I am hoping someone has an idea why it would say that, but I have a feeling it might be associated with the issue you are having.
