I believe ref links aren't allowed..
If you were using firefox 1.x it's good to upgrade because 2.0 is even faster but I also like IE7

I am an FF user and have been using it through the different updates but I find that FF2 has bombed out a few times on my pc. Seems to be working fine on the laptop though.
IE7 isn't really that bad but I too prefer FF.

yes , do you like the way the things are colored? I love the 3D shade effect. And it seems to be working fine with me.

It does look sweet but as long as it remains as secure as previous versions, I am cool with that
My only concern is that as they get more widespread, more people are going to write hacks or try to comprimise it.
I just hope they manage to keep a tighter lid than IE have on their security issues.

Basic summary from a CNET Review on the products.
Despite its many improvements, Firefox 2, like Internet Explorer 7, still does not pass the Acid2 Web Standards test, although, unlike Microsoft, Mozilla says it is working toward full compliance.
Security enhancements within Firefox 2 continue. New is a dialog box informing you of cross-domain scripting, a tactic used by criminal hackers to link nonrelated sites to sites you think may be legit. And Mozilla remains very responsive to fixing its vulnerabilities, pushing out updates within a few days of public notice.
IE 7 was Microsoft's one chance to leapfrog ahead of the competition, but the company has only barely caught sight of the current front-runners. For more features and greater security, switch to Mozilla Firefox. - LOL, their words not mine
Bottom line, for security, safe browsing and quickness of fixes released, stick with the Fox

Trust me it's got security flaws.
So does IE7 , most of them relate to cookie timeout and cookie saving.
But only very advanced users can do that and it takes a lot of time.
But FireFox is still very safe.

all software has security flaws - as soon as usage becomes widespread enough, naughty people will target FF just as much as IE

I agree JJ dude, I just think that Mozila response time on fixes is a lot quicker than Microsofts which is half of the battle.

IE7 has got 3 million downloads in the first 3 days.
But there are times when software is not crackable. Even if it's highly used. Depends on the engine it's running.
Microsoft employs some of the best hackers in the world ..
