RIP GeForce4
Early this morning, hailed only by the flickering of my monitors, came the grim reaper for our good friend, my graphics card. It drew its last dying breaths at around 7am.
GeForce4, I met you when you already were suffering from old age. You served me well; For four months you supported my dual monitor setting and helped smooth over my graphics like only a close friend could.
My computer setup is just not the same without you. My 19" LCD misses you so much that she refuses to connect with anything else for the time being.
You will be sorely missed. Rest in peace.

This one was second hand, but it let me use two monitors. So sad.
Though my brother says he thinks he has an extra for me.

Two monitors, one for each eye? That's gotta be a trip.
I'm waiting for the time when most everyone will have chair and headgear standard. Yeah like I'll live to see that. lol

Just an extended workspace.
But more importantly... running photoshop or even just trying to SCROLL is proving to be a challenge.

You can get a splitter for identical output, but you need an enabled graphics card to have more than one workspace. For my work and monitors, I have and require one DVI and one VGA port.
At this point my computer is on its last legs (it's nearing it's 4.5 years) and I'm hoping to get some Christmas money towards a laptop or a new system. Chug chug a lug.

My brother had an extra in Toronto (2 hours away). With some scrambling, order is restored! I can scroll smoothly now!

It was free (and old), as is the replacement. So no worries.
