Can anyone help me with a problem

I for some reason cannot access www.alexa.com from my desktop, but i can access it on my laptop using the same IP address.

I cleared my cache, cookies, ssl certificates etc, used adaware etc..

what do you think the problem is??

I get the Page cannot be displayed generic error..

its only with alexa.com

If anyone can help me ,it would be greatly appreciated.

You running a firewall or norton internet security? You have it blocked as a resctricted site?

check ur internet options some is it under block list?

i have no firewall, no norton, and its not blocked in internet option

tried and it still didnt work,
this is really bothering me since im pretty good with computers and i never encountered this before..

i also contacted alexa but they didnt get back to me

the sad this is i cant even install the toolbar even if i have the .exe on my desktop because it has to access some registration page from teh site in teh middle of installment and the installation cancels because it cant acesss it

this is real ridiculous

if u have backup then try re installing windows

format ur C:\ then install everything again...

don't have any other option coz i never faced any problem like that

btw did you try k-meleon browser?

Try going into internet options and ALLOWING it even if its not in the restricted list...

Get search alex.com in google search..and then go fot the link.
Or i will suggest u to check out ur internet connection.If it still doesn't works then refresh ur windows copy.
