Dr. Watson

I have made a folder on my computer containing copies of folders of most of my digital pictures, but when I open it a pop-up displays Dr. Watson Post Mortem DeBugger etc. and closes down.

I made a back up of just folders and it still happened. Furthermore when I try to attach a file from it to an email, the whole inernet screen dissapears.

I have run a virus scan but it comes back clear of any issues.

What can I do to get round this?

Hmmm seems like you have some sort of spyware or adware.

I would suggest you download Ad-Aware which is free. http://www.lavasoftusa.com.

Scan your computer and it should clear the problem.

When checking for spyware, I advise running both ad-aware and spybot search and destroy. They each find things the other doesn't.
