Phishing

I heard a lot about phising but never thought it would happen to me, but it did and I was pissed! I had a MySpace account for business and I got a message from someone from MySpace. I replied to the letter and right after I pressed the reply button, I got a notice stating "You've just been phished!"

Of course I had to change my password but I wished I could find out who did that. Thinking maybe there was a way to catch one of these phishers in the act? Does anybody here know? Or does anybody know of any programs that I could install to trace or track these phishers? I’m now running a win 98 se and I'd love to catch one, then leave em' out to dry. Any advice is welcome.

a letter from myspace? you mean some 1 sent you a message? or it displayed on your account that you may have been phished?

It was after I clicked send reply, then a message came up stating I got phished. You know how they do this? If you do maybe you can suggest a good way to spot these messages?
