Why is my Internet Explorer Being Strange????

Wow!! This is wierd. My Internet Explorer no longer has a browser window for me to enter url addresses. Anybody know why and how this happened? And more importantly, how can I get it back up?

I looked around a bit and looked in the "HELP" links. No help that I could find there.

If you got any ideas, please reply.

Thanks,
Hubert

Hi Hubert,

Are you using IE6, if so you could try this;

*Internet Explorer bar is missing*

Do method 1 first as the second option involves going into the registry and YOU REALLY DON'T want to risk getting anything wrong in there dude.

Good luck

I only mention this as I remember doing this myself...(and it's a dumb obvious thing.. lol)

Did you try looking under the "View" menu to ensure that the address bar is set to be displayed? (a little check mark beside it)

Sometimes I get clicking away and inadvertently shut something like this off. Then drives me nuts later trying to figure out what I hit.

Thanks for all your replies. I have FireFox, which sometimes gets hornory, and then I switch to IE until FF stops its tantrum.
Will try those suggestions and keep you posted as to which one does the trick, if any.
