XP license porting!

Hi guys,

i have XP Pro on my system and my motherboard blew out andI have just replaced the board.

XP found everything ok and it works but the problem is that it still thinks that it is registered to the old motherboard and my license number doesn't work (yes, it is legitamate)..

Is there any way of porting this license over as I curently have 30 days before XP decides to give up the ghost and die, even though I have bough a bloody license

I have been told there may be a way out of this situation and but don't know it.
