Monitoring CPU/Motherboard Temp.

SO I just built my new PC, and the motherboard (ASUS A7N8X) has built-in motherboard and CPU monitors. I can check them in the BIOS, but I'd like to have them displayed on my desktop.
What is some software that will allow me to do so?
Also, what are some temperatures I should watch out for? I don't want to fry this new baby!

Thanks,
Justin

What processor? Intel - keep it around 38 degrees c, they say 38 degrees c and under but you don't need to worry too much until it hits 60.

Once it starts getting over 50°C, you better turn that sucker off and let it cool down. I keep it at about 31°C at all times....

I have a LCD Temp. Display on my system, looks kewl and serves a purpose

Okay....Got Asus Probe Installed.
Works great, but I want the temperature to be displayed on my desktop.
I'm guess I'll be needing something like Samurize...is there a pluglin for Samurize which will allow it?

Thanks again!

Can I get one to add on to my existing case?
I'm running about 50*C right now, I know AMD's tend to run hotter than Pentiums anyway.
I think I'm going to save up for one of those cool Zalman heatsinks. 8-)

Why do you need to monitor it? If you have enough air flow, everything's cool, no?

John - Yeah, I suppose you're right, but I want to make sure nothing is overheating. After all, this is the first PC I've ever built, and I want to make sure I don't fry anything!

Davey - Thanks. I'm checking that out right now! 8-)

ash - Thanks, too. I'll be checking that out.

The first thing you need to do then is have good ventilation, or the CPU fan may end up working with the same hot air with minimal cooling benefitss. H/W monitor will only tell you whether things suck or not.

Do you have any case and/or HDD fans installed in that case?
