I take it you want the adsense ads to be where $showbanners is? If so, just replace $showbanners with the html code that you got from adsense.

eh...not sure what you meant...basically i just want the ads aligned to the right on the top banner.

this is the last time I will tell you: if you have a php-nuke website and want googleads in your banner.php-file follow this url:

http://www.luchtzak.be/google_adsense_php-nuke.html

make a file called googleads.php in your root-folder just as described in the url and change all [code:1:2e07daa0b7]include("banners.php");[/code:1:2e07daa0b7] into [code:1:2e07daa0b7]include("googleads.php");[/code:1:2e07daa0b7]

sorry about that...I didn't quite understand it
But i have made the appropriate changes and it worked.
I changed $showbanner in header.html to the javascript and it worked according to PhilC's instructions...

really sorry about that...

btw: i changed the bg colors and text colors to blend with the site bg. Is that a good idea? Or will doing that cause the banner to be unseenable?

I have just got my google ads at www.pc-clever.com ... its mucked the whole page structure out, so i will have to sort that out soon. I might put one on the forum at www.pc-clever.com/forum ... but my main focus is to get the ad colours matching and the site template fixed ... i have too much other work, and loads of exams so i have to balance everything.
