Some questions abour adsense.
hi, i just wanted to know does google pay you in the adsense program if you yourself click on an ad ?
another thing i wanted to know was, lets say a visitor comes to my site and clicks on the same ad twice, do u get paid for it ?
also, is there a way of finding out what type of ads in google adsense pay more and what dont?

you probably can click on your own ads and get paid until they kick you out of the program. that is considered against the TOS and is a form of fraud.
I am sure some multiple clicks pay as long as google thinks they are legit.

google allows you to set up channels. in addition some traicking software uses a MySQL database to keep track of what ads were clicked on

You shouldn't click on ads on your site. Google has fraud detection systems in place.

Google Adsense has very strict rules. If you will click your own ads, your click count will increased and CTR too, but no revenue.
Google knows which IP address you are logging on, Now you will ask how does google knows that you are clicking your own ad.
The IP address you used to check your adsense account and the IP address from where the clicks are recorded.
Once ban from google, all your payments are stopped.
This is just one thing I am pointing out. Google has advanced monitoring algorithms to check out fraudulent clicks.
And just think in terms of Adwords users, how much loss they have to bear.

yup it's true...they send you a nicely worded letter that talks about how there was 'fradulant clicking' on your site. If it keeps up you'll probably get your account banned...
i'm pretty sure john even had a problem with this once...can't find the thread though.

Wonder why Google just doesn’t count these clicks towards payment. Would save a lot of hassle.

I got a strange behavior after I used AdWords, always try to avoid clicking any ads by Google, I know someone have to pay for my random clicks :-)

But someone also gets paid too - google and the owner of the site.
Clicking your own ads to see if they work is against TOS and google states that in there TOS.
IMO - I'm sure google won't ever ban you for just a few clicks. Im nearly 100% sure everyone has clicked thier own ad at a few times at one point.

That's not true, I run two months' adsense and never clicked once, but I clicked my adwords several times by accident.

It already happened. Move on...work on your site, and never click on it again. :-)
