Adsense earnings with only 1 site/blog?

What's a realistic amount of earnings one can expect with Adsense and only one website/blog? And how much traffic is needed to make said amount?

Depends on your niche and number of clicks (conversion)
On an average, 100 visitors per day can give you 3 or 4 clicks. (can be increased by ad placings).
3-4 clicks can give you somewhere between $0.5 to $3 (depends on time of click and niche)

Important point is niche,
than you can go threw content, fresh or not.
Traffic is more important for adsence.

I cannot tell how much because its too relative. But lets put this in this way, more traffic = more earnings! It really depends on the blog topic of niche.

But if u want to earn more, focus your blog on entertainment. It works.

Thanks for the info guys/gals. I'm still having a bit of a hard time increasing my traffic. So far, in my first month that my site has been up I got around 500 visitors. Gotta step it up somehow. I don't think I'm targeting good enough and kinda ran into "blogger's block". I will focus more time on my site this week. Once I increase my traffic, I will definitely try adsense to at least cover my server costs.

I wouldn't expect more than $10 monthly for a normal blog or website.

You mean, you don't agree with people who says that you can earn more than 100$ a month with one site?

One blog can be more lucrative than having 200. Look at Darren Rowse for example.

If you can sway dollar clicks here and there then 1000 daily impressions could be enough. 1000 imp - lets says 700 uniques... 5% CTR - around 50 dollars daily with those nice clicks of course. If dollar clicks are too much, then times traffic by 10 and then work on $0.10 clicks. This time 10'000 imp - 7000 uniques. 5% CTR may be seen as high but is certainly not impossible.

Cheers.

is 400-500 monthly visitors worthy enough to have adsense on a site?

I have not did to much research on this but doesn't real estate niche and DWI/Lawyer niche pay well?

You will make no money at all if you can not get traffic to your blog everyday. Choosing a good niche that pays well is not really that important i think. Pick a niche you are familiar with and know about and keep tweaking your site. Or pick a high paying niche and hire content writers that know about that niche to write quality articles.

Lot's of traffic = some money

Also, there is some great information on problogger.net blog that'll help you out with adsense. http://www.problogger.net/archives/category/adsense/

Yeah. There is really no exact details on anything you will earn from adsense, it will always depend on many factors such as traffic, clicks, impressions, and I guess even keywords play a good role on earning much from clicks.

If you can push more traffic to your blog, the more possible that you can get clicks.

Daily updates can help as well.

$3 to $6 adsense per day

figures I've seen from other people trying to make a living from adsense is $3 to $6 dollars per day, per site

they obviously have to build lots of sites in order to make a wage, so they can't spend much time promoting each site

most I've ever read about from 1 site is average of $200 dollars a day from adsense - but site took a lot of building and promoting - still takes a lot of time promoting

my best site averages $30 to $40 dollars a day from adsense - and I'm always worried that the site will stop earning due to some whim of google

lots of small earner sites would be less stressful - I'm adding them slowly but surely to my portfolio
