Sharing Revenue with Users

I own a site where user post articles on my given niche. I have a core group of users that i would like to share my revenue with / let them make their own.
So i had this idea...
I include a 'users' ad on the article they submit.
So when a user posts an article they get to include a publisher ID and earn revenue from their 'user' ad.

So I would have to create a general ad and swap their publisher ID into the ad for them to get the revenue. My question is does anybody know of a PPC program that would be able to facilitate this? Any comments?

I really think you're going to have to develop something custom. There are affiliate scripts out there you might be able to modify. But in any event, you'll have to track internal revenue and assign it to your users.. Then pay it out. You're looking at a lot of overhead.

You may also run into "micro payment" issues. Sending micro payments is costly. You'll probably have to do what most other sites do: store up payments to a certain threshold, then pay out.

I'm not looking to discourage you. This isn't a bad idea. If you make 3 cents on a page view and give the author 1 cent.. And are able to make it all work, it could be lucrative.

However, web 2.0 is good at this type of exchange, without the monetary output on your part. For example, many users of this forum post so that their own websites will be linked in their signatures. This builds traffic for v7n and benefits posters through one-way linking.

So in short, there are a lot of ways for you to compensate site contributors in lieu of monetary compensation.

Thanks for your input I appreciate it.

I was thinking of trying implement it without need for affiliate software or having to deal with the money side of it. I was going to do this sort of like Blogger does. As in, your article page is YOUR page and you can include YOUR ad (you publisher id, my ad size and color choice) and get the $ credited to YOUR Adsense or equivalent account.

So something like:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "ADD PUBLISHER ID HERE DYNAMICALLY "; /* 468x60, created 3/8/09 */ google_ad_slot = "xxxxxxxxxx"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60; //--> </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script>
Does 'google_ad_slot' refer to the ad type and color combo?
I realize i really shouldn't;t be messing with Google ad code per their TOS this is just and example.

Authors already recieve dofollow links on articles however many users in my niche don't care about dofollow links, but $ makes their eyes widen.

So I emailed Google and...

Code:
From: Google AdSense To: Me Subject: Re: Google AdSense Inquiry Hello,Thank you for your email. Any AdSense publisher may rotate his or her ad code with another publisher’s code as long as both publishers have approved AdSense accounts. Please keep in mind that the revenue generated from these ads will be directly tied to the specific account indicated in the ad code. However, please be aware that every publisher is responsible for the content of a website on which their ad code is placed. If a website is found in violation of our program policies, we will notify any publisher(s) whose ad code is on the website, and ask you to remove the Google code from the site.
Looks almost like a go ahead!

Well then, this will work for your members who have AdSense accounts. But you'll undoubtedly run into users that don't have AdSense accounts.

Also, unless you have another way to monetize your page(s), you're turning all of your revenue over to your contributing members.

So it turns out you have to change more than just the google_ad_client/pub-id for AdSense.

Anybody know of a PPC company that can change the payout account just by changing their Publisher Id?
