No, and if your site links to adult content and they find out, you don't get paid for the money accrued either..

My question is how does this effect something like a directory? where you may have an adult related category? Should these type of categories not be included in a directory?

Is this the same for gambling related sites? because I do come accross ads that are gambling related?

I think it is ok to have an adult category, but you shouldn't show adsense on it.

My spelling can be bad sometimes

I removed ads from those categories of sexual content on my directory just for save side... Thanks.

I asked google the exact same thing, they said that as long as the majority of the site is not adult or adult related it's fine; ie even yahoo and dmoz have adult categories.

Also, when in doubt, for adsense and adwords you really do get real responses from people. So I would just email them with your url and ask them,,,if they say yes, then keep that email, and you're gold

Just to be on safe side I'll hide the google ads on those pages no big deal.... I just saw this post and wanted to make sure I was not doing something out of TOC.

No - absolutely not. It took me 2 goes before they accepted my site because I had artwork that was considered "no family friendly"... and that artwork was usually paintings from the old master series which can be seen at any museum around the world. I have alot of free graphics on my site which also had themed graphic sets which contained artistic nudity - Google told me that if I removed those sets that my site would be accepted. That meant reworking about 5 themed graphic sets - but it was well worth it considering the earning power of Adsense.
