AdSense Problem

Hello,

I use AdSense on my site. At the last week I see the following problem:
1. I see about 700 users per day on the site using a web log analyzer.
2. I see only about 300 AdSense views in the Google report.

In the past time count of AdSense views also was not equal to count of users. But the diffirence was about 10-20% only, not 100% or more.

Also today AdSense was not displayed on several of my pages.
Pages were looked like they do not have AdSense code in HTML.
I sow this on 2 sites.

Did anybody sow this problem or may be anybody knows the reason of it.

Thank you,
Dennis

Are you sure these are all real users? Of late, there have been many false referrers out there who have been trying to attract attention to their site or get a free referral from your logs. Check your non-SE referrer stats to see if something weird has been going on. I get some from URLS that do not exist and for some reason, the International Atomic Energy Commission home page.

Also check to see if all of your pages are showing ad impressions or if you have some pages that are pulling the default Google ads. Another block can be given by Norton Internet Security. It will load the page, but block the impression unless the settings are changed.

I've been seeing this alot on my site - where the Adsense ads don't show up in certains sections of the site. I'm not sure what the problem is.

hmm,

Maybe there aren't enough sponsors to fill the adsense areas? I don't think public ads are shown in the stats.

I'm using adsense since january and I haven't got any problems, works fine for me...

Because of the content of your individual pages and the ads available which are relevant to your content...

IMO it simply means no ads were shown due to lack of ads for your content.

If you create a unique 'alternate image' to be displayed when google ads are not available, the number of requests for the alernate image + google ads = total.

Also check the definitions of the words used in your stats report. Many of the words sound the same but have different meanings.

A lot of my old pages don’t show ads.

All of the deeper pages don’t show ads.
