Adsense question (taxes)
I am 15 years old and signed up for Google Adsense, I filled out the W-9 tax form and put my SSN and all that I needed to, but I had also lied about my age to Google. I am really starting to get nervous, I liked it at first because it was paying for my site. I have been registered for 2 weeks and make $10 but I am sadly going to cancel it because of the taxes that I am clueless about. I asked Google if I still get sent the form even if I do cancel the Adsense and they told me they won't give me tax help. I don't have a tax advisor, and I was hoping one of you could help me.
If I cancel do I stil get sent a form from the IRS in January?
If I don't cancel will I have difficulties and need to seek help from my parents after the forms come, and would I get in trouble with the Gov't.?
I am very nervous now and any help is a lot for me.
Also...
I didn't have to fill out a W-9 tax form for clickxchange.com, but will I still get sent a tax form for that site?

It wasn't, and I really wish I hadn't. It was just the idea of making money that came over me and made me do it. I know what I did was wrong, but I'm here to fix my problem, not be told I did something I shouldn't have.

You're right, but I'm not sure what the question is. For 1, when/if Google finds out that you're under 18, you won't get paid anyway.
From Google in TOS...

You represent that You are at least 18 years of age
|
But, my advice would be to open a new account in your parents name (with their permission) and then they can use their SSN number for tax purposes. And with that approach, you break no rules

Thats what I am going to do, but does the IRS get notified if I cancel my Google Adsense account? Thats why I haven't cancelled it yet, because than if it is cancelled and I get a form asking me how much I made I would get in trouble if I put $0 or didn't mail it back.

$10 won't get you in trouble. I don't know who gets notified of what and when, but again $10 from a minor is the least of their worries.
On a side note, I wish they had Adsense when I was 15, I had to cut lawns!

Thank you, I'm waiting on an e-mail from Adsense before I cancel it and resign up having my parents do it. If I do get a form in the mail from the IRS, what should I do?

I'm gonna stay away from answering that as I don't wanna give you the wrong advice, so I would ask your parents/and or their tax specialist what to do.

That's what I don't want to happen, I think I'll ask a teacher in my school if it does happen, one of them is bound to know.

that brings up a question i guess i've really forgot to ask. How many of you actually do file all of your adsense earnings on your taxes? I've only been running adsense for like 4 months so i have no clue what to expect here soon as far as paper work and what not. Let me know what you people that make money on affiliate programs do with taxes. thanks.

Don't worry about it and move on. $10 in two weeks is a great start for you. Keep optimizing it and by the time you become 18, you will be so ready to earn money. Good luck.

You will get a 1099 form. It's just that simple and it is irrelevant how old you are. G is required by law to do it for over $600 in gross earnings, but they do it if they've paid you anything. If you do not file all of your AdSense earnings, you will hear from the IRS about it.
Regarding the 15 yr old. If you've been paid, you will also get a 1099. Don't sweat it. If that is your only income for the year, you aren't even required to file. However, I would still turn it over to your parents as there could be other income in your name and they file a return for you in your name and you don't even know it. Highly doubtful however that it would change a thing for you.
