Adsense new features

Have I missed something or is no one commenting on the latest new Adsense features? I think the new URL channels look very promising. Seems like a much easier and better system now.

Maybe I am missing something but it seems as though this isn't something that is a whole lot different than the channels they have been running, just a way of creating new channels by folder... something that most people do in the setup. For those that set up with channels to begin with, it seems a bit redundant unless just for the sake of curiosity, you want to temporarily see if a given new page is producing anything.

Personally, I'd far rather had them put their efforts into other features like a -keyword function that you can assign so that when there are two meanings for a word, it doesn't pop up with the wrong set of ads.

Or better yet, assign a +keyword combination for a channel to help guide the ad engine to the correct set of ads. Every once in awhile, the ad engine misinterprets the content to something that is completely irrelevant or the nature of the text on the page is general or it picks up on one stupid small element rather than the general focus of the page.

The main thing about URL channels is that you don't have to change any code, i.e. you can have the same adsense code in all pages on the site. With the old system it was quite time-consuming to alter channels, set up test pages, etc. With the new system it's a breeze. It's too early to be completely confident but so far I'm finding it far more efficient and intuitive.

BTW, I frequently want to temporarily measure a new page's performance. It's an important part of my strategy and it's much easier now.
