>> Check - Secured Express Delivery ($29.00 Processing Fee) **
>> BETA Electronic Funds Transfer
*Standard Delivery checks are sent by regular mail and should arrive within 2-3 weeks of the mailing date.
**Secured Express Delivery checks are sent via courier and should arrive within 1 week.

I put the ad links on my site and my income went up 50% ... would definitely recommend trying them Also, be careful about the beta electronics funds transfer. Read the small print; it doesn't always work and they say they may have to wait until the following month if EFT has problems with your bank to send payment.
Quote:
Because EFT payments are in beta, there may still be bugs that we haven't discovered. If you choose to take part in this test and enter your bank account information, we'll automatically check your information to see if any errors are likely to occur. If we think that payment won't be successful for you, your form of payment will revert to local currency checks.
In a small number of cases, errors may still occur with your EFT payment. If this does happen, your earnings will roll over to the next payment cycle. Finally, because this is a beta feature, we reserve the right to discontinue it at any time.

After signing up for EFT, mine didn't work and they sent a paper check instead ... glad they didn't wait until the following month to pay me.

I find it hard to believe your income went up by 50% from ad links...
I use EFT and have no problems...

EFT payments were not available for February - they are scheduled to begin with March's payment due later this month.

On my payment options it did have EFT option before they sent check out last month. When payment was approved, it said that it was processed by EFT. Then a couple of days later it changed to saying that a check had been sent. Not sure what happened... but that is what happened .

SFC, have you tried adlinks? Why would you doubt that my income went up 50% with adlinks? If it works for me, it might work for others on the forum. Just thought I would share the info to help others. I put them in the middle of my content so that they can bring up links that would fit well with that page and am implementing them on all my pages. Would love to hear feedback on how others are doing with adlinks due to it being a new feature.

Everyone who signed up for EFT payments had the same messages. All of February's payment were sent by check.
One of the Google AdSense reps posted that EFT payments will begin with the payment for March 2005. Some are reporting that they've received an EFT Pre-notification, mostly from those that use a credit union account. Some with regular bank accounts have mentioed that they noticed a "Verification of future ACH Deposit" message.
Looks like Google is going through whatever verification process they're using and hopefully we'll be seeing a deposit soon. I'm wondering if it will be around the 20th or so when they had approved payments in the past.
Where did ypu place the Ad Links? If you had AdSense ads at the bottom of the page and placed the Ad Links above the fold, I wouldnt' be surprised that your income jumped as much as it did.

Starca - I was not trying to be contradictive... If your revenues have went up by that much, that is fantastic. I checked out your site and I bet you are doing quite well, as your site looks to be optimized very nicely.
I'm also running a site where my primary revenues are from adsense. My traffic is not really up to par to brag about, but I plan on implementing new pages to get other means of traffic.
Keep up the good work.
Mike

Thanks Debbie for the info. I did look back to see the notification for the first EFT checks in March being sent out in April. I thought maybe it was a glitch when I saw the EFT come up in my payment column (even though it was just for a couple of days) that's what was confusing to me. Your info certainly explains why it didn't go through to my bank .
I had tried two ad units on my pages before they came out with adlinks and my income went down, ecpm went down so I took the second ad unit off. Of course that was when they first announced multiple ad units. The adlinks revenue has surprised me, although my ecpm is lower, my income is more. Again, thanks for posting the info

Thanks, Mike. I need to add more pages too. All evidence is pointing to more pages consistently being added to improve position in google serps along with getting links. I'm seeing that with a major competitor who has taken my edge. Take care

Starca, reviewing the placement of your ads on the baby site, I see why people are more inclined to click on them. Aren't you afraid of losing your audience to other sites?
You placed them above the fold and in the articles space and before someone has even found out what your site is about, these google ads have wisked them away. They don't open a new window. Is that something you might control? Are you just interested in the ad revenue?

I can see why you would think that and appreciate your input, so I went to my stats to see if my number of pageviews have decreased which they haven't. Decreasing pageviews would indicate people leaving the site prematurely. So far the amount of pageviews are very close to last months. Uniques are the same as well. The Adlink ads have been on the site since the 4th of April. Because I don't sell products and it is all content, the revenue I make does come from the ads.

starca,
I like your site and I like how you incorporated the Ad Links.
How is Vibrant Media's IntelliTXT performing for you?

Thanks, Big Ben. We are revamping it with an all new design. The goal is to have the new design up by the 1st of the month. We make somewhat more on VibrantMedia as we do on Adsense, plus the staff at IntelliTXT are gems to work with
