Yes, infolinks is good! At least for me. These weeks infolinks earns about 20% of what I earn with adsense, so definitely it's a good choice.

Of course, you need a reasonable traffic in order to earn decent amounts with infolinks.

personally i wouldn't bother with them - you can make more money from text links if you go looking for the buyers... if you.. those systems add traking codes to your site and such and then ppl like me who buy links wont touch your site for love nor money.

personally i think they look shocking - but yea they will make you a bit of money - you'd be better looking for some kind of CPM affiliate!

You can't expect too much from 30-60 visits/day. My site is getting between 7K-8K/day.

But... the niche matters a lot. Also it is important to get most of traffic from US, UK, Canada, perhaps Australia and Western Europe.

If your site is new its going to take time before it starts getting massive traffic but infolinks is great.

Have you tried out infolinks before?

How does infolinks compare to adsense?

Anymore tips for the thread creator would be very helpful.

Here are a few more programs to check out:

Text Link Ads
http://www.text-link-ads.com/

LinkWorth
http://www.linkworth.com/

BuySellAds
http://buysellads.com/

ClickBank
http://www.clickbank.com/index.html

I have heard good things about Text Link Ads and LinkWorth.
However, terms change all the time, so the only way to really know what works best for you is to try them out.

You would make more and cut out the middle man if you directly looked for your own advertisers. The only issue here is, you may not get as much as a market as the sites that help you get these link ads

u are ruining ur website monetizing potential by using infolonks.

believe me i have tried the biggest competitirs in the market like adbrite and other but adsense is best,

u can impemet adsense text ads, adsennse has that option too.
u can choose from ur text ad type that "text only"

be with adsense, its better for adsense until ur main focus is not on affiliate products

Adbrite has never been that popular. When i first used them many years ago, there ads was not even targeted and even showed adult content ads when i had it selected to not show them. The money per click was poor also.

As soon as i added adsense, i made real money.

For adsense using both text ads and banner ads can lead to bigger money per click. It's not about the ad network that you use, it's about the content that you add to your website. Quality content and good search engine rankings could lead to better money when using adsense.

Also the niche is a big factor. Some niche's usually have low cost per click regardless of the type of content that you add.

I just don't like info link's. Sorta looks annoying on peoples websites.

They don't do anything for your rankings. It's just a way to earn money from your site.

Having the Infolinks In-Text ads on your website will not interfere with your SEO efforts. Infolinks script is built just like any other Java script; Java scripts do not interfere with the website’s loading and flow, and they are unread by search engines.

From the research ive made i too believe Adsense is way out in front in terms of payment etc - although i have been having one hell of a time getting accepted as publisher.
