hi,

I just got a message from Google AdSense that tells me that I am approved for the AdSense program.

Can you guys share your experiences about AdSense? What is your Click-through ratio?

It is against Google's terms to discuss click-through ratios. Plus, that kind of stuff is different for everyone, depending on what kind of site you have. You should just put it up and see how it goes. If you don't like it, you can take it off later.

are they not paying? or are you simply waiting for the check to arrive?
For which months are you expecting payments? I'm waiting for the one from November, so I'm not too concerned.

I'm still waiting for October.

I received an email from them apologizing because they were having accounting problems and that my check "was in the mail" but I have yet to receive it.

I had to write them a letter today. I'm sure they will buckle when they feel my wrath.

Yeah.. something to do with the update of their payment system. I got mine yesterday.

I dont like adsense any more. Im getting on average 1.25/day from click thrus.

The only profitable ads are those that have no relevence to my sites. The first few months I was getting over $100/mo but now its less than that so checks come very speraticly.

Once I get a few more real sponsors adsense is getting kicked off my sites.

I'm about in the same boat fishfreek. I think that's one downside to the ads. There aren't enough of them to not become stagnant - once a user clicks on an ad there is no reason for them to click again. The only way to keep making money from this is either A) Keep increasing the size of the site with new content therefore getting more new ads or B) Increase the number of uniques to where the the new users see the ads as being new.
From when I started to now I've dropped off from ummm.. Google TOS .. dropped by almost 70% in monthly revenue. This has been a gradual decrease.. impressions have remained steady but CTR has fallen. That's the only thing I can attribute it to anyway.

Yesterday I earned a wapping $0.18 from 2,000+ impessions. And that itself is about 1/2 of what I usually have per day from adsense. So I dont have a freakin clue where the other 2000 impressions went.
