Important Adsense payout fact

Seems that some people over at Threadwatch have noticed that if you have too many low-end websites in your Adsense account, actually lowers your payout. Tests HAVE been made.

Do you think there is a connection with removing low performing channels for to make better performance on other channels? Something that I have been testing and already seeing some difference.

I think they are talking about a lower payout for ALL the websites annexed to the account. It doesn't matter the channel

One case isn't proof. He said it took 4 weeks. My earnings fluctuate a LOT in that much time. The change could have been caused by anything.

Interesting thought, but it was my impression that google takes the highest bid keyword ad to display on your site. Therefore, that highest bidder at that time could fluctuate greatly, thus effecting all your sites, if they are of similar topic, just because that advertisers budget was used up. Since they were out of budget for that week, it drops down a level to the lower bidding advertiser, thust the drop over all sites.
