Ever noticed url being important to adsense?
check this out...

www.juggopop.com that's my blog.
I have ads at the top... they will probably show you blog related ads.

now go here:
www.juggopop.com/milk.gif
this is a link to an image that doesn't exist.
Since wordpress sends you back to the index and leaves the address alone you will see milk.gif is still listed.
The ads you will now see are milk related.

Anyone ever noticed this?

Also.. while I have you here... can you tell me why I get totally unrelated ads on some topics? I talked about how my ISP sucks and the ads are pool cue related. the two things have nothing to do with each other...

No, it's interesting that the Adsense would be based on the name of an image that doesn't exist.

I couldnt say for sure as I have never seen it before but I am thinking you could really get a benifit from this - I've an idea.

I am wondering however if invalid backlinks would effect your blog in regards to SEO?

Stupid question but how are you getting the wrong url to land on your index? Is that automatic within WP?

so if someone has the domain Cellphone-Ringtones.com and puts ads on it... and even if the page talks completely about Puppy Dogs... your saying that the ads will still be Ringtone related?

Actually, I have tested this out. If I have a generic webpage, with no specific content, and put one in /freemp3s/ and another in /pictures/, the ads will be VERY different.
