Google adsense CTR

My website is www.mrschool.org and www.brandonrouth.ws

I am getting about 50 impressions a day with www.brandonrouth.ws , but no clicks. So my ratio is 0.00%

I am getting 300-400 impressions a day with www.mrschool.org , but a couple couple clicks. My ratio is usually 0.74% - 1.2%

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can increase my numbers

Jwcordry, Your first site is a Proxy site, proxy sites are less chick attractive niche..
think..if people are comming to your site to use the proxy, then why would they click on ads that drives them away from your site?

Instead of CPC I'd suggest you to use CPM ads once you start to get more traffic.

Your next site is a fan site, this niche attracts good CTR, but your ad integration is not very well IMO.
instead of frames use tables and blend your ads with the content. Use more ad blocks, not just one header..
hope this helps.

Google considers AdSense as content. So should you. Hopefully this will help:

If your not getting clicks you either have untargetted traffic or the ads being displayed aren't targetted. Work on these two things.

Use section targetting tags to tell the google media bot which parts of the page you want to focus more attention to (or less attention to)

Sure does. I find it particularly useful when sectionning off navigational menu content which throws off the relevance of the ads. I actually wrote a tutorial regarding this here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=101899

Cool thanks, I always thought my content etc was all relevant but i guess you can never have perfect pages.. Im going to try section targeting and see what effect it has.

I've actually been wondering what a good CTR would be for adsense. I currently have a ctr of 4.5% at my page: http://www.mychickenrecipes.com

I think I read somewhere that a high CTR = a boring site

It is? I knew that I can't tell what I make from is ($) but a calculated ctr doesn't add any value (IMO). It could be 0.5% from the main page and 10% from a subpage...
