Google's Adsense is changing its Attitude
hey
Has anyone noticed that Adsense is changing its attitude a little now a days. Before they were acting like dictators , in the sense, before they never used to give any reasons for rejecting your website. Now a days , they are giving explainations.
Is there any reason why google doesnt want the publishers to discuss how much they earn on it. I mean how much i make on google is my personal business rite. It should be my wish whether i want to disclose it or not. And secondly, if I mention on forums, how much i have earned, how will google find out. Even if they do read it, they wont know the website I'm talking about to take any action.
Any comments

welcome to the forum..
yes, probably because the number of submissions have went down.
not sure if theres any real reason, just personal preference.. they can follow your links you post.. like my profile link and signature links to my site.. if i get adsense and they see me talking about it here... they can click the link in my sig or profile.. see my site..and shut it down..

Well they found me.. I had mentioned a CTR that I was getting and a $x/click.. they emailed me within a couple days and asked me to remove the post to comply with their TOS. I was actually impressed with their response time.. haha. If you want to discuss it - do so in PM's or by email.

thats interesting
hey
that was pretty interesting to know how they tracked u down. But what if u had created an anonymous account and not mentioned your website like ME
I dont think that in any way they can track me down to my website. hehehe.....
But it is interesting to know that they do monitor the forums to see if people disucss these things....hmmm good work....

I agree
yep I agree, dont want to lose on the steady income ur getting. But I just happened to read on one of other forums long back where people mentioned the amount they were earning and it was way too high than mine
That just kept me wondering as to why i was satisfied with what i was earning......

Well, last September when I signed up, they didnt accept me at first. But, they gave a full reason, And the guy who wrote the email also added a little comment about a game coming out :-D Very friendly, and when I fixed up the thing he said they accepted me.

Oh really thats news to me.......cos in my case I usually got the same automated response saying " Your website does not meet our requirements....blah blah , In future blah blah".....
And if you reply to that message - you get back the same message again...... ......
Maybe I was the unlucky one.....hehehe......
