By going through several webmaster forums, you can find a lot of threads discussing about MFA sites. Webmasters aren't unanimous in what is MFA site, but they are absolutely together on this issue: they hate MFA sites.
Personally I think there are probably alot of webmasters that have sites they made for adsense, but they wouldn't like to admit.
Even hundreds of MFA sites are born every day, it seems that there is no room for them: advertisers hate them, Search Engines don't like them, directories refuse their inclusion request etc.
So, I have decided to make a place for them: the first SEO friendly directory on the net that accepts MFA sites only.
As mentioned above, MFA site definition varies, so there is only one rule: We approve only the sites that has Google Adsense code on it.
If you own a site that you made for Adsense, you are welcome to add it to our directory.
If you think some site is MFA site, please submit to our directory also.
So, come on and be the first honest man who says:

Sites made for adsense arent approved by google in their publishers program. List your site there and perhaps your supplying them with an easy way to get their adcode disabled.

see I disagree. I dont' undestand why people think advertisers get screwed on MFA sites. Lets say an MFA is about pet rocks. A person looking for pet rocks lands on a pet rock based MFA site. they see a adsense add:

Pet Rocks!
Lots of pet rocks to chose from all personality types available
www.lotsofpetrocks.com

and click. they end up on a pet rock site and possibly buy one.

what's the issue?

they are only going to click the ad if it's of interest to them, in which case it did what is was supposed to do.

No system is perfect. Look at shoppers.com, ebay.com and the other big adwords clients who are in about every low paying keyword out there, with a generated piece of crap line like:

ebay.com
mother for sale at the lowest prices available.
www.ebay.com

I used to be a strong opponent to anything like a MFA site. I realize now that there is some benefit to search arbitrage and MFA sites, if simply for the fact they are delivering serious customers.

Consider it a double opt-in filter for web advertising. If the customer clicked on an ad then on an ad on an MFA site to get to your site, you know they are serious and very interested in your subject.

As for serp sites that are MFA, if they are on topic and delivering relevant keywords, they again are delivering highly interested visitors, potentially.

There are some holes in my thinking, I am acutely aware of them, so consider this a general sentiment more than anything else. As I user I don't appreciate the experience, but that does not mean it is necessarily bad for advertisers.
