Adsense Earnings Suck
Hi Guys
Have any of you noticed that over the last 6 months that Adsense earnings have dropped significantly. I'm earnly about 1/3 of what I used to each month.
I've even thought about getting rid of the adsense adverts all together and selling those spaces myself - probably get more by doing that (definetly would).
Driving me nuts - I've got more traffic, better rankings... it's the cost of clicks thats plumerted.
Thanks
Karen

hi kiwi.. remember me? oh, i bet u dont...lol
anyway, as for adsense, try placing less adsense, or maybe otimize them for best positions on page, (lessads because then u only have ads with high bid displayed)...

Nope. I find that I am earning more per click now. Guess it depends on your niche.

Could be your niche lost alot of bidders in adwords. Quite possible the great majority flew the coop to ypn or several other places due to bad leads. Google has a way of generating alot of clicks, but leads really suck in many cases. Inevitably advertisers move on.

Niche's change
Your blog is good, the article "8-year-old boy being "punished" under Shia law" was an terrible eye opener and it is mostly a good read something you can really promote as others will want to read it.
As for www.kiwisgraphics.com I think the ad placement could be better. That big top banner could be placed on the footer to capture the people who read to the bottom. Keep only one top banner maybe the 468 as the more expensive bids will be more focused there.

I do think that Adsense earnings have dropped over the last 6 months, on a per click basis.
Huh. Let me look into it. For August, average of 0.11 per click.
For April, 13 cents per click.
A couple cents ads up when we are talking tens of thousands of clicks per month.

Interesting. With the nature of my sites, I find a huge range from 1 cent to $2 but with the majority being on the lower end - probably close to what John posted. I haven't been in for 6 months to notice any difference but I find it interesting.

I used to only get the cheapo clicks, but now I regularly get $1.00-$2.50 clicks. Got a $6.00 click recently too.

Still there are no other good ones
Adsense Suck
But there is no other network to depend.
I use Yahoo and they are OK.
Look at my signature sites to see the Ad relevancy etc.
Small guys don't get enough ads to serve.
make sure to keep your Adsense Account, that is the best out there.
Thanks
